Director & Principal

Bhavesh qualified as an Osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy and has been practising and lecturing for over 20 years. He is the Principal of the London School of Massage which was set up in 1994.

He was the Clinical Director and a Senior lecturer at the College of Osteopaths (2000) as well as holding the post of Senior Lecturer (Applied Anatomy) and Clinical Supervisor at the London School of Osteopathy (1995 - 2000). He has also worked for the British School of Osteopathy as a "Demonstrator in Anatomy", lecturing to Osteopathic students at the Royal College of Surgeons.

He is a qualified Assessor and Internal Verifier for the various examination boards as well as attaining his teacher training qualifications. Bhavesh is also a qualified NLP Practitioner, Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist and has trained in Ayurvedic treatments and massage techniques in Central and South India. He is a gifted teacher who has a knack of making subjects easy and understandable as well as helping individuals realise their full potential.

He represents the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association) at the GCMT (General Council for Massage Therapy) meetings and is the CThA Coordinator for Central & North London.

He teaches, and is involved with most of the courses including, Anatomy, Physiology & Holistic Massage, Sports Injuries & Massage and is now in the process of co-authoring a book entitled "Secrets of Massage" (Ivy Publishing).

Tony Sharkey

Tony started his early professional life as a senior automotive executive living and working in Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic and Italy.

A spinal injury led him to develop a huge interest in therapeutic massage therapies and after some reflection he decided to make a complete lifestyle change and dedicate the next phase of his life as a qualified massage practitioner. In the last 8 years, he has qualified in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Vodder Lymphatic Drainage, BTEC therapeutic massage, Sport Massage, Oncology Massage and Reiki level 4. 

Although content with his new way of life treating and healing people with a wide range of both emotional and physical problems he was keen to use his management and presentation skills to bring the rewards of his studies and treatment experience to a wider audience. He is committed to spreading the added value and enhancement a qualified knowledge can bring to all forms and styles of massage therapy.

Tony teaches ITEC Anatomy Physiology and Massage, ITEC Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Cancer Massage.

Matthew Crolla (BSc Hons)

In 2011 Matthew completed a self-led charity run down France and part way across Spain however during the event he received numerous injuries. This created an interest in therapy and rehabilitation and during his degree studying Outdoor Studies – Performance, he had the opportunity to complete a 6 month self-study on the biomechanics of gait analysis to assess and manage the injuries he had acquired.

Upon completing university he gained invaluable hands on experience working alongside personal trainers and chiropractors which inspired him to gain qualification in massage. Upon completion of his ITEC and BTEC qualifications he began working at a physiotherapy and a chiropractic clinic where he worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from sporting injuries to degenerative diseases.

With a thirst for knowledge, a year later he completed his Sports Massage qualifications and applied for a Physiotherapy degree which he will begin in September 2016. Matthew is very passionate about health and preventative therapies as well as the holistic nature of the human body and its interactions which he aims to convey through his teaching style and approach.

Tracie D'Souza BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
ITEC Trainer, Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Hopi Ear Candles, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage / Chair Massage

Tracie qualified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and gained her BSc. (Hons.) degree in 1998. She recently managed the Occupational Therapy service, covering two hospital sites for Peninsula Health in Melbourne, Australia.

Tracie practiced as an O.T. in a number of fields including in long term and acute mental health, learning disabilities, hospital settings such as surgery, orthopaedics and medicine and then returned full circle to Social Services until finally setting up as an independent practitioner with a special interest in oncology and palliative care.

This special interest led her to look into becoming a more holistic practitioner where she completed courses in ITEC Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reflexology as well as completing and practicing Reiki, Hot Stone Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage. She is also a student fieldwork educator and mentor to Occupational Therapy students endeavouring to become qualified practitioners and tries to keep her knowledge and practice in all studied therapies up to date.

She has now extended her role to include that of a Corporate Trainer, working for Body Basics in offering the corporate world an introduction to the world of holistic therapies.

Natalie Wood
Pregnancy Massage, Baby Massage Instructor, Holistic Massage, Reflexology.

Since graduating from University with a Masters in Sociology and Social Research, Natalie has worked in a variety of roles in the health and social care fields supporting people with complex issues such as mental health, homelessness and addictions. Through this work Natalie gained an understanding of the role of self-care and her keen interest in complementary and natural health therapies grew into an ambition to qualify as a practicing complementary therapist.

Natalie is very passionate about natural health therapies and the role they play in supporting health and well-being. As a qualified Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and Baby Massage Instructor Natalie supports individuals and families with a wide range of wellness goals  through her growing private practice. She also volunteers as a Massage Therapist at a North London hospital which is a fulfilling, rewarding and inspiring part of her work. Each visit to the hospital reinforces the power of massage; Natalie sees firsthand the physical, mental and emotional relief natural therapies bring to those she works with.

More recently Natalie became a mum and her passion for providing pre-and postnatal care for families, parents and parents-to-be  during this special, transitional yet sometimes stressful time is now fundamental to her work.

Louis Divine

Louis Divine is a professional, fully qualified Thai Yoga Massage(Nuad Bo Rarn)teacher (Level 1-4) and practitioner. He's passionate about this ancient healing art and engages students with his confident, relaxed approach and broad knowledge. He's studied extensively in Chang Mai, Thailand (the home of Thai Yoga Massage and in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Thai Yoga Massage is a traditional practice that's both preventive and therapeutic - combining acupressure with deep yoga like stretches which bring balance and harmony to your whole being. As well as teaching Thai Yoga Massage Louis is also a yoga teacher and has been practicing for 15 years. He's also a Professional Member of the Complementary Therapists Association."

Patsy Turay (BSc Hons)

Patsy started out as a Computer Programmer in the Banking Industry where she later did Project Management work and became a Business Improvement Consultant.

She took a career break during which she completed her lomi lomi training on Puna Island in Hawaii. She is also holds qualifications in BTEC L5 Clinical Sport & Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy, ITEC L3 Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Reiki and is a Baby Massage Instructor, Fitness Instructor and a No Hands Massage Practitioner.

She has worked at Physiotherapy Clinics and is passionate about taking personal responsibility for ones health.

Patsy teaches Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage.

Marie Oxley
Ayurvedic Massage, Sports Massage, Advanced Therapeutic, On Site Chair.

Marie has been an Ayurvedic Therapist since early 2013 and since then has also trained as an Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant and Herbalist.
 
Marie is passionate about Ayurveda, and about finding balance through choosing the right treatments, foods, lifestyle and herbs to suit each individual body type. She constantly updates and revises her knowledge, and has developed a style of practice that is focused on bringing Ayurveda up to date with modern massage techniques and new research, whilst staying true to the traditional principles.
Prior to training as a therapist, Marie spent many years in self study and education, learning about a wide variety of branches of alternative health and traditional medicine, before eventually choosing to study Ayurveda. She has an integrative approach to knowledge, believing that everything is connected, and that information from different traditions can be combined to create the most effective forms of treatment.
Marie has a busy practice in Devon, gives treatments to a select few clients on her visits to London, and also teaches Yoga on a one-to-one basis.
